I already have an exchange account — can I still use the League of Traders payback code?

Updated over a week ago

Most exchanges only allow referral (payback) codes to be entered at the time of account registration, so they typically cannot be applied to an existing account.

However, some exchanges may allow you to create a new account under the same name and complete KYC (identity verification) using a different form of ID that wasn’t used before. In this case, you can enter the League of Traders payback code when signing up for the new account.

When this is possible:

  • Exchanges usually accept the following IDs for KYC: Resident Registration Card, Driver’s License, or Passport.

  • For example, if you used your Resident Registration Card for KYC before, you may be able to use your Driver’s License or Passport for the new account.

  • As long as the ID is different, the exchange may treat it as a separate KYC submission and allow the use of a referral code.

Please note:

  • Not all exchanges allow multiple accounts under the same name, so you must check the exchange’s specific policy in advance.

  • Some exchanges prohibit duplicate KYC submissions or multi-accounting, which can result in account suspension or penalties.

  • For accurate guidance, please contact the exchange’s customer support or the League of Traders support team.
