Log in to your Bybit account and click on the profile icon to reveal a drop-down menu. Select "API".
Click “Create New Key”, on the right side of the “API Management” page.
Select "System-generated API Keys" when you are asked to select the API type.
To keep your account secure, you must complete the Google 2FA Authentication, if you haven’t already.
Fill in the following settings and permissions.
"API Key Usage" - Select "API Transaction". Do not connect via third-party application.
"Name for the API key" - Customize the name of your API key, it will only be visible to you (optional).
"API Key Permissions" - Select "Read-Write"
Read-Write: Allows us to place orders on your behalf. Select this option if you plan to use League of Traders functions such as Copy Trading. Select Read-Only otherwise, we will only see the data necessary for your portfolio.
Select "Only IPs with permissions granted are allowed to access the OpenAPI" in the next section.
Copy/paste the below IP addresses into the "Add IP addresses" field:
IMPORTANT: If you are subscribed to League of Traders PRO, you must input your dedicated PRO IP provided on the API page.
Entering this IP address provides an extra layer of security to your account by solely allowing League of Traders access to your API key.

Note: If you do not enter the IP address, the API key will automatically disconnect from League of Traders after 90 days.
6. Select the same permission boxes as shown below and click "Submit".
7. Copy the "API Key" and "API Secret", store this information somewhere safe.
Note: The API Secret will not appear again, please be mindful. You could permanently lose access to your API key if you lose track of these codes.
Connecting your API key to League of Traders
Once you have successfully created your API key, connect it to your League of Traders account.
Scroll down if you are using League of Traders on desktop.
Mobile:
Go to the League of Traders app and select "Exchanges" from your profile page.
On the API page, click "+ Connect an exchange" to link a new API key.
Select Bybit from the list of available exchanges.
Enter your API key information and click "Register".
You will now see that your key was successfully added to your League of Traders account.
